Bursaries to support China/UK Entrepreneurship Educators Network

The National Council for Graduate Entrepreneurship (NCGE) is delighted to announce the availability of ten bursaries (each worth 500 UK pounds) to support entrepreneurship educators (working in UK universities) to set up the China/UK Entrepreneurship Educators Network by attending the WUN Hangzhou China Enterprise Conference.

Globalisation: Integrating Innovation and Entrepreneurship is the third in a series of Worldwide Universities Network (WUN) conferences focusing on enterprise, held in Chicago, Leeds, and Hangzhou during 2007 and 2008. The conference aims to explore the collaboration and cooperation of international institutions in integrating global innovation resources to build new models and approaches to enterprise education. The conference themes include: global innovations and entrepreneurship; social entrepreneurship; and innovation and internationalisation of enterprise education.

The conference will take place during 14-16 May 2008 in the city of Hangzhou (180kn southwest of Shanghai). Hangzhou is located in the Yangtze River Delta in the People\'s Republic of China, and is the capital of Zheijiang province. The Conference website contains full information and delegates are advised to apply for the appropriate travel visas as soon as possible.

Please provide your name, job title, institutional affiliation, together with a statement of how you anticipate that you and your institution will benefit from your attendance (max 750 words). Please note that bursary recipients are required to submit a brief report within a month of the Conference. Submissions should be sent to alison.mcnab@ncge.org.uk by the end of Friday 14 March 2008.
