| Content: | 30 entrepreneurial student ideas were showcased at the MAD Ideas Final in Portsmouth on 23rd April. Following the exhibition, there was a gala presentation in the Spinnaker Tower in Portsmouth, followed by a reception. The three overall winners for the MAD Ideas competition were: * Buddy: a text service for HIV sufferers to support their medication regime - Ruby Steel (Kingston) * SideKick Detect and Distract: a product to aid OCD sufferers in the management of their disorder - Katie Alger & Kathryn Sadler (Kingston) * Nutritional Top Trumps: Top Trumps game to teach children about healthy nutrition - Nicola Muirhead (Surrey) The Student’s Choice prize went to Green Stuff: DIY farm kits - Don Breech (UCCA Farnham) The Prize for the University with the most entrants went to Kingston University. |
