Summary:Agitavi Research and Microsoft EMEA have released Software Entrepreneurship for Students: Curriculum Implementation Materials. The Software Entrepreneurship for Students Curriculum was developed with technical universities and colleges in mind. The curriculum provides technical students with additional knowledge and tools to develop successful and sustainable ventures by giving technical faculty the tools to introduce students to real world management skills and competencies needed to fuel innovation, support entrepreneurism and aid employability of the next generation. The objective is to connect faculty and graduating students with resources to foster partnerships locally and encourage entrepreneurship. The Software Entrepreneurship curriculum may be used AS IS or customized to fit your institutional structure and requirements. The curriculum is flexible enough to be adopted wholly or partially for targeted business skills training such as creating value, understanding core competences or promotion and marketing. The curriculum content is comprised of nine Software Entrepreneurship topics, with individual learning objectives. Several external links are included in the modules and are accessible via the web. There are PowerPoint presentations which correlate with each of these modules. The slides are meant to serve as a teaching tool and talking points for faculty to provide supplementary details to students. The Student Resource Guides are provided for additional programming, resources and tools to help students develop sustainable ventures and foster successful partnerships locally.
