Defra consultation on third sector strategy |

| 25/01/2008 | |
| The Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) are consulting for their third sector strategy, which will be released in spring 2008. The strategy will suggest ways in which social enterprises and other third sector organisations can play a bigger role in tackling climate change, protecting the environment and strengthening rural communities. It will also look at ways to encourage social entrepreneurship. The Coalition will be responding to this strategy and would like to hear opinions on the relationship between Defra and the third sector, and related issues. The consultation closes on February 22.
