University Enterprise Networks

UENs - A partnership between Business, RDAs and Universities to:

1. enhance the capacity of business to engage and collaborate with universities to respond to the needs of business resulting in more joint R&D and IP exploitation;
2. support organisational change in universities: an entrepreneurial environment for all;
3. provide all students and graduates with high quality enterprise and entrepreneurship education;
4. provide a template for businesses and universities to work together for mutual benefit;
5. support new graduate businesses and new university businesses.

Four UENs will be launched in 2009 around the following areas:



Each UEN will develop a four year plan around specific support for partner companies, economic contribution, an entrepreneurial university, and engaging schools, colleges and local communities.
